This is one band that crosses fickle bridge between music genres. Thrash Metal fans love them, heavy but melodic Metal junkies love them and everyone in between sings their heart out when 'Wherever They May Roam' hits their ears. As far as musical facts go, these guys are GOOD. Simple as that.

The LA foursome have sold ninety million albums in their twenty-five year history and they seem to improve with age - like wine, but better.

The band is fronted by lead guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich and are working on their ninth studio album alongside legendary producer Rick Rubin.

Their “Sick of the Studio Tour” hits the new, state-of-the-art Wembley Stadium in 2007 - miss them and you're stark-raving mad. Just wear protective gear - the mosh is bound to be mad.
